One of the things we loved about our tour of the Autumn Ramp Park out at The Bridge in Joplin, MO, was the fact that every year they change at least 25% of their ramps in order to give the skaters and bikers a new challenge.
They are currently in the rebuilding process and this video shows the beginning stages. Soon we’ll be showing videos like this of the construction at the ramp park coming to 704.
We learned so much during our visit to The Bridge. So much, in fact, that it’s taking us longer than we thought to really process all the information and post it here. That’s why it seems like we keep trickling the videos and pictures in. Sorry about that.
Anyway, major thanks to Dan and the staff out in Joplin, MO, for showing us The Bridge. It is an amazing place, and the video above probably doesn’t do it justice. Someday, though, when 704 is open, you’ll be able to stand in something very similar to what you see in the footage.
God has graciously provided 2 round trip tickets for Phil and me to go view The Bridge. While we’re there we may just check out 2 more youth centers built by some churches within an hour of Joplin. All we’re waiting for now is the hook-up from Dan at The Bridge for a tour and a couple of hours for brain picking.
Hmmm. Someday when people are flying here to ask us about 704, I don’t think it will take an hour to pick our brains. 5 or 10 minutes tops.
